Bio
Originally from North Carolina, I am the library director at Lambuth University in Jackson, Tennessee. I have worked in academic libraries for eight years, mostly in archives and as circulation manager. In addition to my library work, I teach courses in church music and interdisciplinary studies, advise 10 students, and serve on four faculty committees. I completed a Ph.D. in musicology three years ago, and I lack two more classes of finishing my MLS degree at SCSU, specializing in the academic library track. In my spare time, I enjoy historical research, writing articles, and speaking on music in 19th century Jackson, Tennessee (the subject of my dissertation).
My universitys library is very small, and all of us share responsibilities at the Reference Desk. While I know major resources in various disciplines, I look forward to learning about many more resources in this class that will benefit the students and faculty at my university.
